WHAT IS CBD?
CBD, short for Cannabidiol, is a non-psychoactive, non-intoxicating cannabinoid that is naturally found in the hemp plant. Hemp is a group of cannabis cultivars that typically contain a low amount of THC, and some have higher amounts of CBD compared to other cannabis strains. CBD may offer increased relaxation and additional benefits, and should not produce a “high” feeling as THC does. Rather, CBD may promote a clear and calm mind.
FULL SPECTRUM VS BROAD SPECTRUM
The major difference between full spectrum and broad spectrum CBD comes down to the level of other compounds found in the oil. Full spectrum CBD contains naturally occurring terpenes, cannabinoids, and up to 0.3% THC. The trace amounts of THC in full spectrum products may result in a false positive drug test. Broad spectrum CBD contains naturally occurring terpenes and cannabinoids, but is typically THC free.
OUR HEMP
Hemp is directly beneficial to the natural environment through regenerative farming methods, which removes carbon from the atmosphere and returns it to the soil. We partnered with our friends at Heritage Hemp to grow our all natural, non GMO hemp locally in Massachusetts, without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides. Heritage Hemp then extracted the hemp oil at their manufacturing facility in Northampton, MA to produce our first line of reliable and high quality CBD products.
